Quick Training (Under Construction)
Welcome new cadets, and congratulations on your hiring! Here inthe NYPD we take enforcing laws very seriously so we plan on reassuring that all of you know how to enforce the law with your fullest knowledge and potential. If you have any questions please wait till the end of the training session and we’ll answer them right away! If all of you could go to www.NYPDsite.weebly.com and click “Laws” under “Regulations” and view the page as we go over them to see what I’m going to be talking about. Wave when you’re done. Okay great, let’s continue. First, we’re going to go over the laws, we understand that it’s a boring subject but we need to plant it into all of your heads in order to make sure you know what you’re doing out there. 1.1 Misdemeanor Assault includes slapping. Now we all know slapping is against the law and results in jail time. If a user slaps another user they will be arrested for 5 minutes. If it’s fake but is in ic (:me) they’re to be arrested. Hitting/Punching is against the law and will result in jail time. If a user punches another user you’re to arrest them for 15 minutes. If it’s fake but is in ic they’re to still be arrested. Now to the offenses, if a user hits with a dragon blow you’re to add 5 minutes to whatever assault they offend. Aggravated Assault is a very common offense by users on HabboRP so we want to make sure you know if a user murders another user they’re to be arrested for 30 minutes. If it’s fake but is in ic it is still to be taken as an offense resulting in an arrest. If you see the alert *User-B barely manages* caused by User-A you're to arrest them for 25 minutes for Attempted Murder.
Any user who hits an on-duty NYPD officer will get an additional 5 minutes to whatever offense they have committed. If you’re murdered on-duty you’re to add 10 minutes to the additional offense time. You cannot arrest the user who murdered you unless another NYPD member sees the murder. Once again; you cannot arrest the user. Members of the NYPD are not to attend turf rooms but if you do, stand at your own risk. Users who attack you in a turf room and you are off-duty they are not to be arrested. How ever, if you are on duty and they hit you, you may arrest in a turf room. If you’re in a [FZ] room you’re not to arrest if you’re hit off-duty. If a user is blocking you’re to warn them if they do not move you’re to arrest them for 5 minutes. If a user harasses you’re to warn them at first, if they continue you can arrest for 15 minutes. Racism, bullying, hate speech or sexual offenses all fall under harassment. If a user harasses out of character (OOC) you cannot warm/arrest. Abuse of 911: if a user intentionally misuses the 911 system you’re to arrest for 5 minutes without warning, if it’s unintentional you warn the user after the commit the offense again you’re to arrest the user for 5 minutes. It is unlawful to push or pull any user more than 3 times in the same room. After 3 times, you’re to warn if they push/pull for a forth time you’re to arrest for 5 minutes. Fake pushing/pulling in :ic are to be counted as. Pushing/pulling users through arrows is unlawful if you see a user commit the crime you’re to warn them if they to do it again you’re to arrest for 5 minutes. Pushing/pulling users off treadmills is unlawful if you see a user push/pull another user off a treadmill you’re to warn them if they do it again you’re to arrest for 5 minutes. Exceptions are pushing users who’re AFK or using auto typer/clicker. If a user evades an arrest by running/fleeing you’re to add an additional 5 minute to whatever the offense time is at. This includes: taxiing, running through a teleporter or arrow. If a user hides in their private property you’re to arrest them for an additional 15 minutes to whatever the current time is at. If a user logs out you’re to add 15 minutes to whatever time the user is to be arrested at. Also, if a user logs out once and then comes back and logs again you’re to add both logs and add to whatever time given. Fake log outs in ic are to be added as logging out. Witnesses can not be taken down for log. You must see the log yourself; you can not assume he/she logged out. Another thing to take to mind is if he/she evades and then logs you’re to count evade and log separately. If a user jailbreaks you’re to give them 15 minutes of jail time. If a user uses ic as a jailbreak they’re to be arrested. If users are reporting a user for jailbreaking you need 3 witnesses and inmates do NOT count. If you see an inmate assist the jailbreak you’re to add 15 minutes to their current time. If a user is on the jailbreak point you can stun/cuff them waiting for the pop up to alert, if the user does poof; take off any item; or begins to dance you’re to arrest them for 15 minutes. If a user is on the jailbreak point and an inmate pulls them to prevent the pop up to occur you're to arrest the inmate for an additional 15 minutes to whatever time they currently have at the time. If you see a user with “escaped convict” in their motto you’re to ask them to poof, if they do not you’re to arrest them for 5 minutes. If a user pushes you while making an arrest or does anything to prevent you from arresting a user you’re to arrest them for 5 minutes for obstruction of justice. NOTE: you can stun/cuff any user to prevent them from obstruction and later release them without charge. If a private property owner asks you to remove a user from the room you’re to ask them to leave without reasons if they don’t leave you’re to arrest. In a state owned business the manager must provide a reason to have the user a removed. You’re to warn if they do not leave you’re to arrest for 5 minutes for trespassing. If a user trespasses with a rocket they're to be arrested for 10 minutes without warning. Unless given permission by a manager. Once again congratulations to all of you on your newly hiring and please remember after 2 weeks of being a cadet if you feel ready you can take an evaluation to become an officer! If you have any questions we’ll answer them now, thank you!
